COMMUNICATIONS AUDIT AND PLAN

Like an MOT for your comms, this is a cost effective way to prevent your  website, publications, social media and fundraising from becoming neglected. Either as a birds-eye overview or a focused deep dive, this exercise can lay the groundwork for change, identify blindspots as well as strengths, and give you practical recommendations, shaped to fit with your budget, capacity, goals and vision. 

This works well for charities who want a short term intensive investment in their marketing: a way to realise measurable change quickly and cost-effectively.

TRAINING WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS

Bespoke branding workshops, and communications training for teams, on communications strategy, digital and social, content marketing, branding or reaching churches. 

REPORTS AND RESEARCH

 Context research, stakeholder surveys and reports to inform your decision making. Previous projects include identifying comparable fundraising case studies, compiling relevant recent research on specific areas for trustee boards, and staff/supporter 'listening' exercises, with surveys, interviews and workshops.

PROFESSIONAL MENTORING

Frank Analysis is committed to supporting and advising others, and particularly encouraging women in senior roles within Christian organisations, or communications roles. Sometimes external professional mentoring, over phone, in person or video call, can be useful as part of wider ongoing training. Packages and frequency to suit your situation.

Laura Treneer has been Head of Innovation and then Chief Executive for 60 year old communications charity CPO (Christian Publishing & Outreach), with a focus on digital, brand and strategy. She has provided research and training for a wide range of organisations in the faith sector, and worked with the Church of England, Churches Together in England, SIM, Global Connections and Premier Digital among many others. Laura has written a series of books on church communications (websites, social media, internal and external comms), 'Reach Out', for BRF. She brings other experience in marketing and fundraising, project and volunteer management, copyediting, research, print and digital comms, as well as church/charity leadership, governance and leading through organisational change. Caroline Millar works alongside Frank Analysis specialising in strategic project management and church network collaboration initiatives. She has worked in recent years with London City Mission as Church Development & Partnerships Director, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with senior church and parachurch leaders. Previous roles include Commercial Partnership Manager for the Mayor of London at City Hall, building partnerships between the public and private sector, and working at All Souls Langham Place church in London with a focus on those in their 20s and 30s. Caroline is part of the Evangelical Alliance’s One People Commission Young Adult Forum, works with City to City, has board experience and is a Director of ChalkLab. She lives in East London with her family.

Frank Analysis Ltd undertook project work in early 2021 for the School of Media, Arts and Humanities at the University of Sussex, to assist us in our submission to the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
